| It's been almost a month since I updated... I went home to see my family, esp. my grandma. She passed away the 18th... four days shy of her 92nd birthday. George flew out for her funeral, and then we flew back on the 22nd. It was a good time... I mean, it was good to see family and friends again, even if it wasn't a happy occasion that brought us together. But Grandma was at peace, and we had time to say good bye. It was hard to get back in the swing of things when I got back. I didn't want to return to work, I didn't want to do anything... But all is better now. Work is going well... life at home is getting straightened out... (spring cleaning  ) | | |
| So, things are not looking good for my grandma. They're keeping her on meds for pain (most likely) but that's all they can do for her. She wasn't expected to live the night (Saturday night), much less all of Sunday and now today. I'm flying out Wednesday to be with my family. Prayers would be good for my grandma, my grandpa (who went recently to the hospital to see his wife and say good bye), and for safe travels for me and my other extended family who are traveling to Colorado. That's all the news I have. | | |
| My grandma had a stroke tonight. No word yet how she's doing. She's on her way to the hospital. My grandpa is not recovering as hoped from his broken hip, and his dimensia is getting worse. Looks like I may have a trip to Colorado in my immediate future. | | |
